Grand Canyon - LandCruising America

The idea to document our land cruising journey started at our visit to the Grand Canyon. We did not have itineraries nor reservations. Just the idea to drop by, camp out, and visit the landmark. To our surprise, it was harder than we thought. Having three precious packages tugging along, we needed somewhere to crash out and let the night pass by. We wanted to get there before sunset since we were told that the best details of the park stands out at sunset. So we rushed, got there before sunset, but was not able to capture the scene since we were unprepared on where to go. We then decided to start finding a place to stay, we tried hotel, motel, lodges, etc but all was booked. Even campsites within the park are all "full". Then but fate, we stumbled upon free primitive camping areas around the park, we then find a place, setup-up, crashed. It was indeed an ultimate camping experience to say the least.
